Putnam County Public Library

Now has Digital Version of Entire PC Newspaper Collection

Letha Walsh, Director of the PC Public Library has announced that thanks to a very generous donation in memory of Barbara Wickless PhD, by her family, the Library has been able to digitize their collection of Putnam County newspapers. They have been scanned, digitized, and organized in a database. Every newspaper in the database is fully searchable by keyword and date, making it easy to quickly explore historical content. The Putnam County Historical Society will be serving pulled pork sandwiches, walking tacos, pop and pie during the Big Bam (Bicycle Across Missouri) tour on June 24, 2015 in the Unionville City Park. Please join us in raising money to help with repairs to the Historical Society Museum.
